ISO-Plane
A New Paradigm in Airborne Container Transport
From truck to plane – without infrastructure, without delays.
What is ISO-Plane?
ISO-Plane is a next-generation aircraft concept designed to simplify and accelerate cargo operations by enabling the direct transfer of ISO-standard containers between trucks and planes. It introduces a fast, infrastructure-free method for airborne logistics, specifically built around the widely-used 20-foot ISO container.
With ISO-Plane, there’s no need for cranes, loading docks, or airport ground handling equipment. The aircraft is designed to lower itself over a truck, pick up or drop off a container, and take off—making air cargo possible in places where it used to be impossible.

Why It Matters
In today’s world, logistics is everything—especially during emergencies. ISO-Plane provides a solution that is:
- Fast: Transfer a container in minutes, not hours.
- Flexible: Operates in remote or damaged areas without needing airport infrastructure.
- Standardized: Fully compatible with the 20-foot ISO containers already used in global supply chains.
- Cost-effective: No cranes, no special teams, no delays.
This makes ISO-Plane ideal for:
- Humanitarian aid and disaster relief
- Military and peacekeeping operations
- Remote mining, energy, or construction sites
- Emergency response to environmental crises
How It Works
- A truck arrives with a 20-foot ISO container.
- The ISO-Plane positions itself above the truck.
- The container is automatically lifted into the aircraft’s bay.
- ISO-Plane takes off—container secured and ready for air delivery.
This system works in reverse as well, allowing the aircraft to drop containers onto trucks with the same precision and speed.
The Technology Vision
The project is currently in early-stage development and aims to achieve its first Technology Readiness Level (TRL) milestone. The goal is to prove the technical and operational feasibility of this breakthrough transport model. Prototypes and testing are underway to validate performance, safety, and adaptability in real-world conditions.
Designed for a Changing World
Whether responding to humanitarian needs, adapting to climate-related events, or simply reaching places where no infrastructure exists, ISO-Plane is built to meet the challenges of today—and tomorrow.
It’s more than a plane. It’s a logistics solution, a strategic asset, and a new way to connect the world.
